I know of few people who better represent what it means to be a bi-cultural citizen than Felicia Zhu.  Her extensive service to our community,  her strong belief in the value of education, and her tireless work ethic make her an excellent candidate for school trustee.

Felicia Zhu has been a volunteer with the 1st West Vancouver Scout Group for 8 years, helping with our annual Family Dinners, Year End Picnics, Family Camps and serving on our Group Committee. Felicia is the type to roll up her sleeves and pitch in, and her sense of service and duty to community make her an excellent fit for Scouts. I especially value her advice regarding newcomers to our community and she continues to guide us in that regard. West Vancouver is lucky to have people like Felicia.

I got to know Felicia when we worked together at the West Vancouver school district’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee (under District Parent Advisory Council) for the last two years. I have known Felicia and her family close to 8 years since they first enrolled their son in my school. Since our first meeting Felicia has been a supportive, and kind-hearted parent in our karate community. Whenever we run events at our school, Felicia is one who always offers her support in some capacity. she is a parent that I can count on. From my observations and interactions with her, Felicia strikes me as one to be very humble but simultaneously courageous, personable and at the same time professional.
